Hello :) I baru dapat shawl baru, its Adreena Shawl from Terbaik Dari Ladang or usually known as TDL. Sangat best ok tudung ni, material die chiffon, two layers basically. Sangat comfortable and easy to wear. Adreena shawls ni ade 10 colors that you choose from.

You can style it in so many way, you can even wear it like i did which is so easy and simple.

My reception day

Hello :) today i'm going to post about my reception day which happened on 16 of December 2012. 7 bulan lepas but rasa macam baru je last week, time flies so fast kan? next week dah masuk bulan Ramadhan. oh my i am so excited to celebrate my first Ramadhan with my hubby and baby in the tummy hehe. so here are my story about my lovely and humble reception day. its a joint event actually. since my hubby's house and my house dekat je, so our parent decided untuk buat kenduri sekali je. kenduri sebelah perempuan dan sebelah pihak lelaki together.

Actually, we were a bit late of finding the place for reception. i bertunang bulan July 2012, after raya baru sibuk nak mencari dewan. bayangkan orang lain dah book and pay deposit usually a year before the event. we called so many places but mostly dah fully booked. but alhamdullilah dengan bantuan kawan my daddy in law, we got a place at Seri Pacific Hotel. we are lucky enough because the date that we chose still available. we directly pay the deposits and started planning for our reception day which includes the deco, pelamin, baju and etc.

As my solemnization i banyak uruskan sendiri sebab taknak menyusahkan orang lain, same goes to my reception day. my hubby and i worked really hard in terms of finding the right doorgift for guest, our pelamin and deco pon kitorang yang decide, baju and other small things. sampaikan malam before reception pon kitorang sibuk mengangkat doorgift. hehe pengalaman yang best sangat walaupun penat yang amat. bayangkan kitorang pengantin ni tido almost 4am malam before reception, then pukul 8 pagi dah bangun untuk bersiap semua. 

Basically, the pelamin i took from the same person who did my pelamin on akad nikah day. you can google her, FL-Adore. she's very talented and the price is very affordable. doorgift pulak i kasi bekas crystal empat segi with Fidani chocolate inside it packed with hard pvc and ribbon. doorgift ramai jugak yang membantu menyiapkan kerana sangat remeh kerjanya. Fidani chocolate i beli borong from a factory at Shah Alam. kena order awal and they price it depends on the shape and weight. quite a reasonable price. highly recommended!

My dress and my hubby's suits i tempah from Nazreen Idris jugak. he really has done a great job! we really love our baju sangat sangat sangat suka. walaupun a bit pricy but sangatlah worth it and berbaloi. oh our dress and suit are now open for rental if anyone interested. so thats basically the basic details about my reception. there are also a gamelan group playing gamelan on that day. my daddy got the gamelan group from Seri Warisan if i'm not mistaken. they also offered so many other types of shows; cak lempong, ghazal, selawat team etc.

My reception day started at 12 noon and end at 4.30pm. sangat ramai yang datang haritu. meriah sebab majlis tu involve kawan and sedara mara dari kedua dua belah pihak lelaki dan perempuan kan. kawan i and my hubby pon ramai sangat sangat. but actually kawan kitorang banyak yang sama sebab we were in the same primary school. ingat tak i pernah cerita he was actually my first love masa kitorang standard 6. hehe kalau orang tanya my dad pasal i and hubby i, mesti dia akan cerita yang kitorang kenal since zaman sekolah rendah. haha.

So majlis start dengan bacaan doa, selawat, ucapan dari kedua dua daddy hehe. kitorang tak bersanding renjis renjis pon just guna pelamin untuk bergambar je. we spent a lot of time sitting on the pelamin sebab orang nak bergambar non-stop. ramai yang datang kan, sekejap kawan acap, sekejap kawan i pulak, sedara mara acap, sedara mara i pulak. tak sempat nak mingle around saying thanks to the guest, so here is my deepest thanks to everyone who came to our reception day! we really appreciate, all the present, doa, etc. thank you so very much!

Itu jelah kot, baby esok cukup 7 bulan yayy! will update insyaAllah again soon :)

Full fresh flowers + dulang = rm50 each

Half fresh flower + dulang = rm40 each

You can even give me your dulang if you want, minus rm5 for each hantaran.

My solemnization day 12.12.12

Here goes my review and update about my solemnization day;

We chose 12.12.12 as our akad nikah date. nice date right? its on Wednesday tapi time tu cuti sekolah so people and relatives still can come. majlis start around 8.30 macam gitu. rombongan lelaki sampai pukul 8.45 malam. lagipon jurunikah pon dah bagitahu awal awal dia datang lepas isyak sebab dia kena imamkan solat. so rombongan lelaki sampai dulu then jurunikah. memang just nice. i dekat atas dalam bilik bersiap since pukul 6.30 lagi. berdebar debar gila lah! :O

My solemnization theme is green, apple green to be exact. mostly semua from A to Z i yang uruskan. khemah, candeliar etc i took from the internet, contact through email je. my dress i buat dekat Nazreen Idris. highly recommended. just google his name and you will find his details :) doorgift i bought the plastic hard cover box from Nilai which cost me a reasonable price, and the apam polka dot i ordered from internet as well. they send it to my house on the event day.

Pelamin i ambik dengan FL-Adore. they offered a very reasonable price. i dont prefer spending too much for something that is just for one day purposes. i tahu kahwin sekali seumur hidup tapi i rasa tak perlu nak spent berpuluh puluh ribu just for the pelamin. within small price boleh dapat pelamin yang cantik jugak kan hehe. i recommend FL-Adore to all bride and groom to be. inai pon i google je contact number and direct call and pay the deposit. gamble je. haha.

Senang gila semua benda dihujung jari anda je. kena rajin survey and do research lah. hantaran pulak i buat sendiri, for both side. hantaran i nak bagi dekat pihak lelaki and hantaran pihak lelaki nak bagi dekat i. i bought lots of fresh flower from Taman Maluri, Cheras. price sangat sangat sangatlah murah. dulang i beli sendiri. kalau ada sesiapa nak tempah buat hantaran fresh flower dari i pon boleh jugak. i tak charge mahal pon haha sempat lagi tu promote :p

Usually from wedding boutique or mana2 yang buat hantaran fresh flower they will charge you more than rm100 per hantaran. kalau dah 9 hantaran dah cost about rm900. itupon bunga ciput je. memang lah cantik and we dont have to do anything. tapi kalau boleh buat sendiri lagi baguih kan. cut cost sikit dan kita boleh gubah sendiri ikut citarasa kita. i beli bunga fresh banyak gila and it cost me around rm500 je, i even buat bunga table for guest, bunga at stairs etc.

So basically i and hubby yang incharge  for almost everything since i memang lagi prefer buat semua sendiri and tak harapkan orang lain. my mom incharge for the catering. and the other rest jurunikah, pa system, card semua i buat sendiri. anyway, many thanks to my family members, jiran, sedara mara yang banyak membantu secara langsung atau tidak langsung masa hari akad nikah i tu. they all have done a great job in making sure the event run smoothly.

Crowd malam tu ramai sangat walaupun masa tu hujan turun agak lebat. but after selesai upacara akad nikah, hujan berhenti alhamdullilah so ngam2 orang nak start menjamu selera. kalau hujan susah jugak kan guest nak bergerak ke sana sini. i only invite close friends, neighbour and relatives je masa malam tu. the rest i invite masa reception i. alhamdullilah akad nikah malam tu berjalan lancar. hubby i agak nervous jugak biaselah siapa yang tak nervous kan :D

Anyway, thank you to everyone who came, who support, who pray, who gave present, who helped, whoever you are thank you so much. thank you as well to my dayangs and hulubalangs. 12.12.12 is a day to remember and it is such an unforgettable moment in my life. i'm now happily married for 6 months, please pray for our happiness to last long forever, insyaAllah. enjoy the pictures and wait for my next entry about my reception day :) thanks for reading this entry!
